New Awards

It's really wild to be awarded recognition, especially from your guests. This week we we're fortunate enough to be recognized in the OnMilwaukee.com readers poll as Milwaukee's Best New Bar as well as having Milwaukee's best bathrooms. (now that's a strange one) The national online company Citysearch and it's readers have been very receptive to Swig from the beginning, but this time they
have awarded us with best after-work bar and best Martini, that Martini award is alot to live up to....we're working on it diligently.

Fundraising

I'm find that Swig is a great place to rasie money for your favorite charity. We've been called on daily it seems to offer items for auction or what have you and have turned those calls into much larger donations by virtue of hosting events for the charity of choice than the average silent auction gift certificate. I just wish there were more bowls available from Empty Bowls, that's a great cause, certainly industry related and our grand opening event with them raised some awareness for sure.
