Tastings and fresh air

Here we are mid-April, I can't believe how the winter flew by. We had a very busy holiday season, a busier post holiday and a great Valentine's through St. Patty's. Seems that the restaurant dining world needed a bit of a break over the last month and it gave us time to find new ideas to add to our ever-growing-ever revolving concept. We've really enjoyed our tasting programs. It all started with a unique take on wine flights, moved into martini flight, morphed into the milwaukee martini society and shaped and honed our wine tasting program. All this has led us to begin a whiskey tasting series and begin to research a chocolate tasting and a small plate tasting. Boy, it's alot to stuff into each month, but you seem to enjoy the options, so we'll keep moving on with the ideas.

Spring also means some really great weather and if you are new to the Swig experience you may not know that nearly the entire facade of the main dining area opens up into the street and provides for what we call a "chicago style" open air dining experience. The two best things about our system are: air conditioning when it's just too warm outside for the windows to be open alone and the built in ceiling heaters for when it's just a touch too chilly without them. It really adds another dimension to the experience at Swig, so when calling for reservations, if you are interested in the open air dining tables, please be sure to ask at that time.

As always, we look forward to serving you soon.
