A few restaurants, a couple of bars and some out of town experiences keeps things interesting in Milwaukee.
A sad day for Milwaukee as our most prominent food critic passes away. We were very well treated by Dennis and I felt as if we were growing closer as we got to know each other over the last couple of years on the phone and he became comfortable sharing more and more about his experiences citywide with me. There's nothing like that feeling of knowing that phone call is coming after the photographer stops by. Dennis, you will be missed.
Seems odd, but somehow Sullivan's opening date was also this Friday the 13th. Maybe one cancels out the other. Either way, as sad as we are to put Swig on the relocation burner for several months, this project looks quite promising. Scott Sloan and Keith Alberts are back with us along with some staff from the 1225 days (Rebecca & Hosni), so we're excited to have another concept on Water Street that is more, well, Water Street.
