NYC again

In case you haven't figured it out already, Angie and I love New York. Not just because it's my home state but because you can never discover it all. This trip Angie was running the Nike 1/2 Marathon to prep for the big one again in November, but we also got a chance to catch (not literally) A-Rod's 500th home run at Yankee Stadium and catch up with an old friend, Pat, from Cornell. New York also always provides some great restaurant and bar ideas and this time around we were looking for something fresh for the new Swig location. Success!

We cannot avoid trying more and more Danny Meyer restaurants with each visit and the Shake Shack is one of our new favorites. We recommend a Peanut Butter Shake and the Double Stack!

Crazy Summer @ the Buffalo

WOW, that really does describe how I am feeling about the reception of Water Buffalo. Who would have thought it? (Well, it isn't totally a surprise as I've watched the Ale House pack 'em in for many years at their riverwalk location right next door. But still... WOW!) I'll go ahead and use the crazy summer as an excuse for the lack of new blog posts.
